Flight Schools in Arizona — The Complete List

This is the list. Every flight school in Arizona we have been able to verify, grouped by the city and airport they actually operate from — not the city their marketing targets. Partner schools and non-partner schools are both here, because a directory that only lists the people paying for it is an advert wearing a directory’s clothes.

Arizona is one of the best places in the country to learn to fly, and the reason is unglamorous: the weather cooperates. More than three hundred flyable days a year means lessons happen when they are scheduled, and a lesson that happens is worth more than a lesson that is planned. Training that takes eighteen months in Seattle can take eight here, for the same money, largely because nothing gets scrubbed.

What this page cannot tell you is which of these schools is right for you. That depends on where you live, what you are training for, how fast you want to go, and what you can spend. That part is a conversation, and it is the part we do for free.

Free to you. You pay the school directly, at the school’s price, never a markup for coming through us. We are paid by the schools for connecting them with students who are ready to start.

Elsewhere in Arizona

These operate outside the six metro clusters. They do not have their own city page yet because the search demand does not justify one — but they are real schools and some of them are excellent, so they are listed in full.

  • Alpha Kilo Aviation, LLC

Google shows a 5.0 rating across 16 reviews (checked July 2026).

Maricopa · Estrella Sailport, Maricopa · 520-568-2318 · Their website

  • Copper City Aviation Services, LLC.

Southeast Arizona’s option, in Bisbee. Active on Facebook, effectively invisible on Google — which says nothing about the flying.
